Member Bravery Posted June 12, 2008 Member Posted June 12, 2008 The Dream Team-- Michael Keaton always plays crazy a little too well. Invisible Target-- sold my HK version and put the 15$ towards DD-- mainly wanted the special features. The Princess Bride-- waste of money though because the edition that I already had isn't too different from the one I purchased. But I got a really neat t-shirt. John Carpenters Prince of Darkness-- was surprised to see this one on the shelves, hadn't seen this one since the early 90's. Quote

Member David Rees Posted June 13, 2008 Member Posted June 13, 2008 Just got the 2 disc SE of Creepshow. Fantastic disc, remastered film and disc 2 is full of great stuff like audio commentary, outtakes and a 90 minute making of documentary. Apparently this is currently only available in the UK , Region 2 PAL so we in the UK get a superior version for a change! Anyone with multi region players i would say get it now if you like the film. This guy on ebay ships outside the UK... Creepshow 2 disc SE Quote
Member Sifu Posted June 13, 2008 Member Posted June 13, 2008 Indiana Jones - The Adventure Collection! Yeah, yeah! I know they'll be comin' out with another set when Indy 4 comes out on DVD, but I don't really care. Patience has never been one of my virtues. Quote
Member Chinatown Kid Posted June 13, 2008 Member Posted June 13, 2008 I just ordered the Indy collection too along with the Dirty Harry Ultimate Collection. Might get the Rambo and Rocky sets next. Quote

I bought mine a couple months ago from xploited. Here... http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/creepshow-special-edition-dvds-p-12982.html Quote
Member 5 Element Boxer Posted June 13, 2008 Member Posted June 13, 2008 I was thinking about ordering the new Indy collection, but I already have the first collection that came out. And I'm pretty sure there's nothing different between them. The last DVD I bought was the Dragon Dynasty release of Heroes Of The East. Quote

I have been trying to collect all his movies along with the ones by Bud Spencer. Quote
Member venoms5 Posted June 14, 2008 Author Member Posted June 14, 2008 Yes, Terence Hill. I already have the UK dvd under the title SUPER SNOOPER and it has added and extended scenes and different music in some places. CRIME BUSTERS is both Hill and Spencer together. I have a number of their films as well. There's a swedish box set that contains just about everything they ever did for pretty cheap only to import that one is expensive. I think it's well over 10 discs. Quote

I have the original Indy set as well, and I thought about getting the newer set, but from what i've seen of the new set the special features wouldn't justify the 'upgrade'. Also, the originals have the 2 hour making of special feature that the newer sets do not have. Quote
