hey....whats up everyone. Just trying to get a great conversation going. There is a lot of old school fast swordplay out there. But name me your Favorites or BEST swordplay films that are undeniable in your opinions.

Sword Of Justice

last hurrah for chivalry

magic blade

bastard swordsman

 

honorable mention: Supreme Swordsman?

Hmmm.. top 3 would have to be:

Duel to the Death - Easily the best swordplay movie ever made!!

Sword of Justice - would love to see a proper restored and remastered version of this classic one day.

IRON_LEOPARD thats a bunch of old stuff in the 60's. I don't think they had special effects or fast sword play back then....lol

With that being said I trust you and will still check them out.

Oh so you are more interested in the actual sword play action scenes than the overall quality of the movie? If that's the case then yeah most of these are slower and was before fight scenes really got amazing. 

Then I might replace the 60s ones with "The Avenging Eagle (1978)", "Full Moon Scimitar (1979)", "The Lady Assassin (1983).

I love it but undercranking is bit heavy so could not fit it into top5. Would buy br if released to join dvds.

I have a few honorable mentions that are a few of my personal favorites. 

The ODD COUPLE with Sammo Hung is "God like" when it comes to the choreographed action sequences. 

Fiery Dragon Kid is also a classic
