Make sure to visit your Account Settings and make any necessary changes to your Notification Settings. Some of the most notable changes are as follows: CLASSIFIEDS This is "The Wanted Section" taken not only to the next level but 36 levels ahead and beyond. Members of the forum will be able to buy, sell or exchange products in a more intuitive and visually pleasing way. We have preset categories for the most popular type of items that a member of our forum may be interested in or would like to sell. We also have a Miscellaneous section where just about anything could be sold. You can list a single product for sale or just like eBay, each member can basically have their own store. You can list stuff to where you could take bids on the item, or list the actual price you want for it. You can add products to your Wish List, each posting has a Question section in case someone wants some more details, just like the rest of the forum, this is completely mobile-friendly. You will be able to create listings, easily add images using your phone to take pictures, and people can leave reviews for items they've purchased. I can go on and on, just check it out for yourself. Start listing your wants and what you have to sell. While we have the ability to charge a listing fee or a commission fee when a product sells, we WILL NOT be collecting any sort of payment for either. This service is 100% FREE to use for all registered members of the forum. CLUBS Think of this like Facebook Groups. Each member is allowed to create 1 Club (for now), they will have the choice of making the following type of Club: Public Everyone can see the club and its posts and can participate without joining. Open Everyone can see the club and its posts, but only members can participate. Everyone can join. Closed Everyone can see the club and who's in it, but only members can see posts and participate. Users need to ask a leader to join. Private Only members can find the club and see its posts. Users need to be invited by a leader to join. Read Only Everyone can see the club and its posts, but only members can participate. Users need to be invited by a leader to join. Think of running your own Club like having your very own mini-forum. You can name the Club whatever it will be based on, for example: Bruceploitation Appreciation, The Unsung Shaw Actors, Be Kind, Please Rewind (VHS Collectors), etc. The leader of the club can assign moderators if they'd like. Clubs will have access to the Gallery Categories, Calendar, Chat, and Classified Categories and much more. CHAT ROOMS Chat is Back! We've added the ability to live chat with your fellow forum members. We are able to have multiple chat rooms, but for now, we have just enabled a single one. If all goes as intended and we can build this community up over time, and if there is a need for it, we can feature possibly a few themed chat rooms. Bruce Lee, Shaw Brothers, Modern Films, etc. There is also the ability to have a 1-on-1 live chat if you'd like, which of course would be private. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (cause google doesn't know everything) We've added a section where if used the right way, people will be able to browse through and learn some things they might not have known before. Not everyone has been a fan of the martial arts film genre for 30+ years. There are definitely those with a vast amount of more knowledge on the genre than others. Someone asks a question, then people can post an answer. Then if someone has already posted an answer you also believe to be the correct one, you simply upvote that answer. The post that gets the most upvotes will be deemed the "Correct" answer and that post will be moved to the top and highlighted. If this feature is used correctly by everyone, it will become a knowledge base for all members to utilize, old and new. GIFS In the editor, forum-wide, whether you're making a post, in the chat room, leaving a review, etc, you will now have the ability to use animated gifs from Giphy! You click the GIF icon in the editor, scroll or search for something that fits what you'd like to say or how you feel, and select it, it will be inserted. As you can see below, I searched "Bruce Lee". If you are not fond of any particular feature that has been added, please keep in mind that you do not have to use it. We have much more planned for the Kung Fu Fandom Forum.
