Guest Topgun
Hi guys, I wonder why Adam Cheng did not shine at Shaw instead of the independent studios? What could have caused it...only Cat Vs. Rat? His performance in this movie is superb...don't you guys agree? Cheers, Topgun:rolleyes:
Guest Iron_Jinon
cat vs. rat unseen but he was great in shao-lin vs.wu~tang:)
Guest Morgoth
That is a good question Topgun. All of the stuff that Adam Cheng did with Lau Kar Leung was great. He really should have done more stuff at Shaw Brothers. He should have been in more movies period.

Guest Morgoth
He was the shit in The Sword. Hell yeah! That is one of the best kung fu movies ever and Adam Cheng is a total badass in it. That movie alone proves that he should have been in a lot more movies. Maybe his singing career was more important to him:confused:

Guest ironfistedmonk
This guy was amazing with a sword, I can't think of anyone better at wielding one. Most of these guys have more than one profession, loads of actors sing, loads of singers "act", maybe he preferred singing but I wish he had made more movies cos he is a don with a sword. Guest Morgoth
I have also always thought of him as the king of sword. Too bad he didn't make more movies:(
Guest will91XingYu
He was in Drunken Master 3 with Willie Chi and Andy Lau. I didn't know he was a great martial artist, he's mentioned on the hkl release of Knockabout with Yuen Biao. They have an interview with this guy that teaches monkey style and he said about how Adam Cheng is a great martial artist!
Guest wuxiawuxia
To capture Adam Cheng's top form with weapons, one must watch his tv series where he made household names in the last 4 decades among the Chinese communities across the world. He is amazing with a fan and sword.
Member Alexandra Posted July 30, 2010 Member Share Posted July 30, 2010 I found this old thread... those days I was thinking in open a space for Adam, but there it is... He is absolutely charming on screen (even not a super handsome man), very good trained actor, and I love him with fan, unique, unique, unique. Member Alexandra Posted August 3, 2010 Member Share Posted August 3, 2010 one of his best tv series is fate takes the hand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6_2pk6v5jM Thanks for post this video, is really beautiful. In this character, looks incredible, he has a great scenic presence and as usual elegant, brave, with dominion of martial art... he reminds me, in this video, at glances, some movements typical of Jet Li, maybe I am wrong, just little movements like "flashes". Elegance, Adam is elegance on screen. Alexandra
