Member AlbertV Posted June 14, 2017 Member Posted June 14, 2017 With two of her lead roles, Lady Bloodfight and Female Fight Club (Squad) released and soon to be released (depending on where you are), it is time to appreciate the lovely Amy Johnston! Martial arts is in her blood as her father is former kickboxing champion David Johnston. She's worked primarily as a stunt performer, doubling at times for Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow in the Marvel Universe and even played Harley Quinn on an episode of "Super Power Beat Down". Amy is well versed in various forms of martial arts, beginning with her father's "progessive" style, a meshing of kenpo, taekwondo, kung fu, kickboxing and arnis. She's also studied wushu, Wing Chun, and Jiu-Jitsu. Amy as Android 18 in Dragon Ball Z: The Light of Hope 3 Quote

Member DragonClaws Posted December 11, 2017 Member Posted December 11, 2017 Quote In “Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier,” there’s a scene in which Black Widow, played by actress Scarlett Johansson, slides on a car door and soars off a jump, narrowly avoiding a burning car that is flying through the air. In the film’s entry on the Internet Movie Database, Johansson is the first name listed in the cast. If you scroll down toward the bottom of the page — past the cast, producers, assistant directors, makeup department, art department, special effects department and visual effects department — you’ll find the name of the woman responsible for pulling off the dangerous car door scene and many more stunts throughout the film. Member Mike Leeder Posted January 23, 2018 Member Posted January 23, 2018 (edited) while sadly neither Lady Bloodfight or Female Fight Club really showcased a fraction of her martial arts skills...she really gets a nice chance to show what she's capable of in ACCIDENT MAN...its a stylish and brutal fight between her & Scott that really delivers on her potential Edited January 23, 2018 by Mike Leeder 2 Quote
